Older Michiganian’s Day

Region VII Area Agency on Aging
is pleased to invite you to join in celebrating
Older Michiganian’s Day on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Are you interested in voicing concerns to legislators on behalf of all seniors?
This year’s uniform Advocacy Platform includes the following issues:
– Support Family and Informal Caregivers
– Support and Strengthen the Direct Care Workforce
– Support and Strengthen the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
– Increase Access to Home and Community-Based Services
– Expand Access to Ml-CHOICE

Older Michiganians Day will be a hybrid event: in person at our Bay City Office (outdoors) as well as a virtual event.

This event provides the opportunity for individuals to speak with a unified voice to the legislature expressing the concerns, challenges, and opportunities for older adults by the experts, older adults themselves, and aging service providers.

Region VII Area Agency on Aging will be honoring the centenarian participants.

Health Fair featuring services offered through Region VII AAA and other Community Partners: COVID Vaccines, Free Masks, Blood Pressure Checks, MI Choice Waiver, Care Management, MMAP, Information & Assistance; Care Transition Program; OT Services; and so much more.
