Fiscal/Technical Assistant
Description of position: This position is responsible for assisting the
Fiscal Manager with data entry, billing functions and report generation to
OSA and DCH, along with generating management information reports.
Duties: Lead responsibility for accounts payable inclusive of vendor
reports. Technical assistance to other staff members. Assists with payroll
functions, reconciliation of agency checking accounts and general ledger
accounts as needed. Inventory management, quality assurance activities,
fiscal assistance, NAPIS data entry, contract provider budgeting, RFP
reviews and other duties as assigned.
Reports to: The Fiscal Manager
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates Degree required – in
business field. Two years accounting and computer experience preferred.
Proficiency in the use of computerized accounting systems, Microsoft office
applications, calculators and other office equipment. Must have accurate
computer input skills. Problem solving and ability to read and interpret
documents. Combination of education and experience or additional related
experience may at the discretion of the organization be established as
equivalent to degree and experience.

Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) Manager - Full time position with benefits with a Non-Profit Agency. This position is responsible for administration and management of Region VII’s MMAP. Requires a current license with the State of Michigan and the completion of two years (4,000 hours) of supervised practice as required by the State of Michigan to practice as a Licensed Bachelor or Masters Social Worker. Must have excellent computer, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills and have at least two-years of relevant work experience with the elderly regarding Medicare and Medicaid benefits.
