Waiver/Care Management Director & HIPAA Privacy Officer – Full time position with benefits with a non-profit agency in Bay City, MI.  This position, under the supervision of the Deputy Director, is responsible for the direction, oversight and quality and assurance of all care coordination programs including the success of the MI Choice (Medicaid) Waiver for Home and Community-Based Services, Care Management and other programs as assigned.  He/She advocates at the federal, state and local levels for the needs of the elderly and disabled as appropriate and is the agency’s HIPAA Privacy Officer.

Position requires:  Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Human Services field, Business or Public Administration with a minimum of five years of responsible leadership experiences in management or supervisory positions; RN or MSW preferred.  Additional related experience or combination of education and experience may be considered if, in the opinion of the organization, equivalency is established. Has the ability to supervise others in a fair and equitable manner and work independently.  He/She must be willing and able to travel within all ten counties of the region (and at times out of region) in reliable transportation.  Please submit a cover letter and resume, to Region VII Area Agency on Aging, 1615 S.
